Specialty Conveyors, Turntables, and Chain Transfers

• Newell 2000 Series

  Designed for plastic pallets, but also ideal for loads discharging from a palletizer, leading up to a strapping or stretch wrapping station.

• Newell 2005 Series

  Designed for pavers, brick, and concrete block loads, but also ideal for loads discharging from a palletizer, leading up to a strapping or stretch wrapping station.

• Turntables

  Air operated 90 degree turntables using an air cylinder to rotate the conveyor deck, and Motorized 360 Degree Turntables driven using a DC gearmotor to rotate the conveyor deck. Both with integral chain driven live roller conveyors, and a 36" diameter ball bearing for full support. The 360 Degree unit is driven with a roller chain drive assembly.

• Chain Transfers

  Roller chain transfers for product transfer at right angles to the direction of travel. These are used for changing the load orientation to place straps on the ends of a load, and for product realignment. Air operated to raise above the roller conveyor for transfer.

• Transfer Cars

  Motorized transfer cars with integral conveyor are used to move product to and from multiple lines. Normally used to pick up off of multiple packing stations or to deliver to multiple outfeed conveyors for product sorting and accumulation.

• Chain Conveyors

  Chain conveyors are used for handling skids and pallets with the bottom boards running perpendicular to the chains. They are also used for outfeeds from a lumber compression/strapping station (Signode MP-44) after the bottom battens have been strapped to the load.
